Happy Friday ATX! 🤠 It’s Day 1 of Austin City Limits Music Festival! It’s time. October. The longest, busiest, most fun month of the entire year here in Austin, Texas.
ACL Weekend 1 —> ACL Weekend 2 —> insane weekend where Austin will have the Formula 1 US Gran Prix, AND Texas vs. Georgia football —> finish off the month with TONS of Halloween Festivities.
All of these events are so large that they spawn tons of smaller events surrounding them. It’s going to be a hell of a month so buckle up!

Weekend Forecast: It’s ACL Weekend 1… what more do I have to say? Keep your eyes peeled for epic afters, night shows, and huge parties with secret artist appearances. Austin is the place to be this weekend. 👀
Highs of 90 and lows in the mid 60s are going to make for the perfect ACL weather. I recommend getting out and enjoying it festival or not though…
Best thing we ate this week… How about a late night taco spot to satisfy your post-ACL cravings this weekend? Look no further than El Tacorrido. This place is an Austin classic. Open ‘til midnight every night serving tacos with all the protein choices of an authentic taco spot. They even slang frozen guava mezcal margaritas made with Union Mezcal in their Riverside location drive thru! Last night we each had a Verduras taco (best veggie taco in town) a Pollo taco, and a Barbacoa taco, shared chips and guac, and I snagged one of those frozen guava margs to show you!
Keep this place in your back pocket for whenever you need a late night taco fix.

Most fun we had this week… We didn’t do much this week because we were both under the weather and wanted to take it easy to rest and recover. We’re doing ACL Weekend 2 this year but I know that if we were going to weekend 1 it would for sure be the most fun thing we did this week!
New Business that we want to try… One of my favorite coffee shop/bars just opened a secret Halloween bar called the Witches House. It’s upstairs at Cosmic Saltillo and it just opened up yesterday! Check out the announcement here.
