Weekend Forecast: This weekend appears to be a pretty chill weekend in Austin (in more ways than one… BRRR!) but you never know what can happen in ATX ;)
Nevertheless, there are some fun happenings that we will share below as always…
Best thing we ate this week… Okay so this segment will normally feature the best things we have eaten in the past 7 days, however, we are going to make an exception for Lenoir because they are killing it. The blue crab fingers were by far the best thing I ate in the last month, and Lenoir honestly set the bar EXTREMELY high for 2024… The food was to die for, and they served it with some of the best service I have had in 25 years of dining around Austin. New Business that we want to try… Dish Society! This one is actually a well-known Houston minichain that is opening up its first location in Austin! Located in Mueller, this place looks like they have a bit of everything that we enjoy on the menu… Nutella French Toast, Shrimp & Grits, Beignets, a Hot Chicken Sandwich (on a pretzel bun?!?!), and a top-tier cocktail menu to pair. Interestingly enough even though this restaurant concept started in Houston, the owner is originally from Austin and has wanted to open up a restaurant here for a long time. We need more places that offer this level of brunch every day in Austin so this one is high on our list of places to try!

This contemporary city home up in Brentwood just minutes from downtown caught my eye with its mixed materials and attention to detail. Open layout for a huge spacious feel, top tier stainless appliances, YUUUUGE bathtub. This one would be on my shortlist if I had $1.4m to spare (c’monnnn Bitcoin lol).
